About

Tel Aviv lovers, food lovers and lovers in general.
We decided to open up a new blog reviewing restaurants/bars in Tel-Aviv mainly for others visiting from the abroad.
As we love to travel, we enjoy searching some recommendations coming from people living in the destination itself. Therefore, giving you some “inside info” of Tel Aviv.

Hope you enjoy!

Dear Shahar and Inbar! Georges Cohen and David Aboucaya ( owner of Parderier Garden Bar at King Georges,4), opened intimate bar on Montefiore, 15. It serves elegant bar food from the open tapas bar, and drinks, including original cocktails. Atmosphere is informal and surprising. Back yard garden open for those willing to share a glass and a cigarette. From Sunday, July 29th, till August,1, everyday, from 9.30 pm to 1 am, the bar will provide free tasting menu to its old and new friends. You are most wellcome to join us. In case you decide to come, which I hope you will, please, give me a call at 0542200207 to be on the list for one if the tasting days. Sincerely, Esther Katz, PR & Creative.

A few months ago I went to a lovely breakfast cafe/restaurant! And had eggs benedict with bacon..it was lovely but I can’t remember where it was. The area is lilienblum, nahlat binyamin, yehuda halevi. You catch my drift about the area don’t you. Can you help me?

ah, an this would be my email geheimeschnatterei@gmail.com – I am actually looking for slow-food restaurants in tel aviv – good price-quality-value with an focus on regional and seasonal food. perhaps season is not such a big issue here. in case that you are not travelling right now and in the mood for a chat, it would be great. I am actually just based at a friend’s place who I met in Guatemala. so, hope to hear from you, bye, bianca

    Dear Shahar and Inbar!
I am a “foodie” living in Denmark but I visit Tel Aviv regularly. For years I have been looking for a local foodie who could help me chose where to dine when in town, and your blog is absolutely what I was looking for!
A question: You did not review one of my favorite restaurants IN THE WORLD, Catit in Neve Zedek. How come? If you haven’t tried it yet, then you should!
    🙂
